New Rock Star Talent Added to the BLDD Family.

We are excited to announce new hires in our Central Illinois office location. These talented new team members will support increased project demand and help achieve continued growth throughout the firm.

First we welcome Yiming Pan! Graduating from both architecture and engineering schools, Pan believes that the core beauty of this profession is about its joint nature of arts and technology. With a mindset of problem-solving, he looks at design work as a process of constantly defining and resolving problems.

After work, Pan spends most of his free time with his family, especially with his little girl, Chelsea. His hobbies include street photography (Henri Cartier-Bresson is his hero in this field) and practicing Chinese calligraphy.

Also in our Central Illinois office, Kyle Fountain joins BLDD as an Architectural Intern. With a love of urbanism and nature, Kyle spent half his career in Chicago, fulfilling his dream of contributing to the “Wrigley Skyline.” The other half he spent in Denver, camping, hiking, and designing the built world around the Rockies.

Missing family, Kyle, along with his wife and young son, moved back to Illinois where their passions for architecture and teaching first originated. In his free time, Kyle enjoys any opportunity to create. Whether it’s cooking for his family, making music, painting, or woodworking, his hobbies run far and wide.

Welcome to the BLDD family, Pan and Kyle!
