This past weekend, we gathered for the annual BLDD Holiday Party (a bit late due to some crazy weather this winter). Four new associates for BLDD Architects were announced at the celebration. Congratulations to Emiel Guede, Anita Lanning, Justin Placek, and Damien Schlitt!
These four have become leaders in the office and leaders of our culture. They have provided exceptional value and dedication, and they have a track record of going above and beyond.
Emiel has been with BLDD since February of 2002. He became a licensed architect in 2015, and has led our firm-wide QA/QC efforts that help us be a technical leader in the industry.
In his free time, Emiel loves reading, watching early silent films, gardening, and exploring the many great restaurants of Chicago.
Anita started with the firm in February of 2003 and was licensed in 2014. She has become a key expert in our religious market sector and has created award winning interior environments for youth and adults.
Outside of work Anita enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and is an avid crafter.
Justin has been with BLDD since August of 2008 and was licensed in 2013. He has set himself apart as an expert in the technical aspects of architecture and as a Project Manager for our most complex projects.
Justin enjoys spending time outside of the office with family and friends, and is a college sports fanatic who follows anything involving the University of Illinois.
Damien and has been with BLDD since May of 2007 and was licensed in 2013. He has become a key expert in our Pk-12 design group with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
As a husband and father of two, Damien lives his life to provide for and enjoy every minute with his family to the fullest. Baseball season dominates the majority of his time in the summer.
Congratulations to all four new associates on this well-deserved promotion!
