Stacie Hanneken is an administrative assistant in BLDD’s Central Illinois office. Her previous experience involved case management and administrative duties at a community college in Adult Education, CDL, and the Highway Construction Careers Training Program.
Stacie is a mom and grandma who considers this role the absolute best part of who she is. She is also a self-admitted concert addict, a Cubby fan, and a dancing machine.
We asked Stacie a few questions:

What would you put on a billboard?
Work Hard, Be Kind. (my mom has said this to me since I was little and I now say it to my kids.)
What new belief, behaviors, or habits, adopted within the last 5 years, have most positively impacted your life?
Saying no and not feeling bad about it. Stepping back has allowed me so much more time to do the things that I enjoy, reading, playing with my kids, being a Mimi to my awesome grandchildren.

What are some unusual habits or collections you have?
I am a Barbie fanatic. I could fill a room with the Barbie things and accessories I have. Dolls, tea sets, playing cards, dishes, jewelry, purses… if it is Barbie, I love it.
